Join us for a weekend retreat at Huzzah Valley Resort. We have lots of adventures planned! Participate in as much or as little as you want!

Friday is a free day. Feel free to fill you time with whatever your family would like to do. There are lots of things to do around the resort; Onondaga Cave, hiking, Steelville Bike Park, swimming (at your own risk), or horseback riding ($).

• You may decide to show up on Saturday only. That's fine with us.

On Saturday, we will plan a group river float that will be from approximately 9am-2pm and a cookout that evening. We would love to have as many families as possible participate on Saturday.

On Sunday, we will have breakfast and outdoor church together. After that, you are free to head home or find one more adventure!

Location

• 970 E Hwy 8, Steelville, MO 65565
• HVR is 10 min from Steelville, 20 minutes from Cuba, 25 minutes from Meremac Springs State Park (St. James) 35 minutes from Onondaga Cave State Park.

Sleeping arrangements

• Are you staying 1 night, 2 nights, or no nights?
• Will you sleep in a tent, camper, or hotel?
• Those staying at a hotel are responsible for reserving their own sleeping arrangements.
• Those staying in a tent will coordinate with Tyler on reservations.
• Tyler has made reservations for 5 camper hookups. Those spots will be available on a first-come-first-serve basis. There might be other spots available through the resort, but they will be further away from the group.

Meals

• If you are staying Friday night, will you be joining us for Saturday morning breakfast? How many?
• Saturday lunch will be on your own. You will either be snacking on the river or if you aren't floating, doing your own thing.
• Will you be joining us for the Saturday evening cookout? How many?
• Will you be joining us for Sunday breakfast? How many?

Costs

• Six-mile river float:
• Raft: $40/person.
• Kayak: $46/person
• Canoe: $60/canoe (2 person min., 3 person max.)

• Youth (8-12yrs): $10.21/person/night
• Kids (7-0): Free
• Camper Hookup:
• $21.50/site/night

Anyone 17 and under interested in coming without family/parents need to coordinate with Tyler.
