What can I expect?

How long is a NSCC CHURCH service?

In total, a Ninth Street Christian Church service is about 70 minutes in length. Services begin with the band leading the church in music - song lyrics are projected onto the screens so we can all sing together. After the music portion of service is complete we transition to taking the Lord's Supper or Communion. We practice "open communion" so the bread and cup are available for any Christian to take. Afte the Lord's Supper, one of our ministers (usually Chris) will share a practical and challenging message to encourage your faith.

What's the culture like at NSCC?

Sundays at NSCC are enjoyable, casual, and relaxed. Come as you are and expect to feel welcomed as our guest.

What about my kids?

We believe that kids should have a blast at church and come away knowing that Jesus is the hero of their story. In our children's ministry there are many caring adults who want your child to come away feeling known and cared for by both them and God. We have Nursery (0 - 2yrs) and Sunday School for all ages during our 9:00 a.m. service and Nursery and Children's Church (PreK - 4th Grade) during our 10:30 service.

Note: In the 10:30 service Children's Church kids start in the main worship service and then are dismissed before the sermon.
