Welcome to Ninth Street Kids!
We are so excited to be able to host your child over at NSCC Kids! Our goal is to create a safe environment for your child to meet Jesus, while providing an opportunity for you to participate in our services.
Below you will find some useful info about the policies and procedures of NSCC Kids.
Nursery (Newborn-2yrs)
- The Baby and Toddler rooms are located in the hallway alongside the Worship Center. You can drop your littles off at any time before or during the service.
- For our littles, we provide safe and stimulating Christ-centered care with age-appropriate toys.
- We have a Mother-Baby Room located through the door at the back of the worship center with dimmable lights and a speaker so you can continue to listen to the sermon while taking care of your babies needs.
NSCC Kids (Preschool-5th Grade)
- We offer programming for kids Preschool-5th Grade during our 9:00 service and 4yrs-4th Grade during our 10:30 service.
- See the map below for classroom locations in the Family Life Center (Gym).
- We use a variety of curriculum from Group and Kid's Sunday School Place that is curated by our Children's Minister. All curriculum is both interactive and Bible-focused.
Before Service
- First Visit: On your first visit we would love to show you and your family around the facility and to the classrooms that apply to your kids!
- Check In: On your first visit we can help you enter your children into our check in system. There is a check-in station located at the main foyer entrance and the entrance to the Family Life Center (Gym). On subsequent visits, you will check your child(ren) in using either of these stations. To do so, you will enter in your last name and select the child(ren) who will be attending class. Stickers will be automatically printed for you that will allow our teachers to learn names and quickly access your phone number
- Upon checking in for the first time, we will ask for the following personal information (NOTE: We value your privacy and will not share this information with anyone):
- Parent/guardian name(s)
- Child's name
- Child's birthdate
- Child's Grade
- Home address
- Phone number
- Any special instructions (allergies, special needs) for your children
- Sunday School (9:00): You will bring your kids directly to their classroom.
- Children's Church (10:30): Kids will remain with you in the worship center at the beginning of service. After the initial songs and communion the kids will be dismissed and be led by their teachers to their classes.
During/After Service
- If your child needs you, the volunteers will text your cell phone. Please keep your phone with you on silent mode to minimize disruption.
- We have experienced volunteers who are prepared to help your child feel more comfortable. If we cannot calm them, you can be confident that we will let you know.
- You can pick up your child(run) from the classroom designated on the map below. No need to check out from the stations!
Additional Info
- We run background checks on all volunteers to ensure your confidence in our team.
- Does your child have Allergies or Health Concerns? Please see the Children's Minister, David Shultz, and we can add notes to your child's sticker at check-in, so the volunteers are aware.
- Does your child have special needs? We love ALL children and want them to experience the joy of NSCC Kids. If you intend to make NSCC your home, our Children's Minister can work with you to establish volunteer help to assist your child to be successful.
Thank You!
- We are so thankful you chose to worship with us today and entrust your child to our care. Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns. You can talk to one of the volunteers or our Children's Minister, David Shultz ([email protected]).
In the Grace of Christ,
David and the NSCC Kids Volunteer Team
